Maléna has done it again. In her latest Instagram update, the Armenian star treated fans to an acoustic cover of Adrianne Lenker’s beloved track, “Anything,” creating one of her most vulnerable and moving social media moments to date.

Captioning the clip with her trademark relatable humor—“if you stabbed me in the head with a knife it would’ve hurt less than this song 😹😬”—she perfectly captured the deeply resonant, tear-jerking nature of the track before even playing a single note.

Stripping away polished pop production, Maléna chose to showcase her artistry in its purest form—just her voice and a classic guitar. The soft fingerpicking and acoustic warmth set a quiet, contemplative atmosphere, allowing her vocal delivery to take center stage. Her delicate tone, coupled with an understated yet deeply emotional interpretation of Lenker’s poignant lyrics, brought a tender freshness to the song.

For those in the fandom who have followed her journey from the high-energy electro-pop sounds of Junior Eurovision to her recent musical explorations, this performance serves as a powerful reminder of her versatility. It highlights not only her technical skill as a vocalist and musician, but also her ability to connect on a raw, human level.

The fan response across social platforms was immediate and overwhelmingly warm. Comments flooded in praising the emotional depth of the cover, with many listeners noting how her personal touch elevated the cozy, bittersweet essence of the original track.
