Cast your minds back to February 2022. Do you remember the absolute thrill of that month? That was when Maléna gave the entire fandom a monumental surprise. The grand final of ‘Depi Evratesil’ (Armenia’s national selection show for Eurovision) was taking place, and Maléna graced the stage as a special guest performer.

And wow, did she deliver! She completely captivated the live audience and everyone watching from home with a breathtaking performance of her track “Flashing Lights.” The energy, the vocals, the stage presence… it was pure perfection.

What made it so surprising and emotional for all of us was seeing her right there, live on the Armenian stage. Remember, by that point, she was already living in the United States to pursue her studies and her international music career! Seeing her fly back for that moment was an incredible gift for her home country and global fans alike.

The “rare” and “never-before-seen” photo that I just published over on our Instagram account captures the magic of that exact night. It’s not a staged photoshoot or a professional press pic; it’s something way more personal. It’s a beautiful throwback from the backstage of ‘Depi Evratesil’.

In the picture, a radiant Maléna—rocking her gorgeous outfit from the show—is seen smiling warmly next to a lucky young girl who got the chance to meet her backstage right after the performance.

Now, some of you might find this familiar! The dedicated followers of Maléna World had actually already been treated to this beautiful shot on their website, as they were the ones to originally publish it as an exclusive media feature. But seeing it pop up again is the perfect excuse to appreciate it all over again!

I absolutely love this photo because it showcases just how sweet, grounded, and loving Maléna is with her younger fans. It’s a beautiful reminder that despite her massive international success and fame, she’s still the same appreciative girl who stole our hearts at Junior Eurovision.

You definitely don’t want to miss this heartwarming piece of fandom history! You can check out the full post over on our Instagram or find the beautiful photo on the photogallery of this website.
